Establishment and co-moderation of an electronic ethnoveterinary mailing list in co-operation with the Centre for International Research and Advisory Networks (CIRAN) of Nuffic, Netherlands (1999-present).

bullet Organisation of non-government organisation activities during a major international conference on food security for the German NGO Forum Environment & Development: field visit to an organic farm, editing of livestock papers for a reader, compilation of a leaflet on livestock production in the South, and organisation of a session on livestock issues (2001).

Planned, co-ordinated and conducted field studies with an interdisciplinary team for the Small Ruminant Collaborative Research Support Program of the University of Missouri and the Research Institute for Animal Production, Bogor, Indonesia. Study focused on sociological, gender and veterinary aspects of local management of sheep and goats.
